Reel Improv (Private Lesson)

Service Description

In an hour session I practice with you the art of improvisation. Starting with a suggestion we walk through the steps I personally take to reach a full scene with interesting characters that your audience will fall in love with watching and you will delight in playing. Here's the bonus. A good improv scene requires the exact same skill set needed to be an effective communicator. Effective communication is the foundation to successful relationships. Therefore, what we are actually practicing during our session are the three most important factors of being a great communicator. Clarity. Active listening. Empathy. Clarity: Great communicators convey their message in a clear and understandable manner. They use language that is free from ambiguity and jargon, making it easy for their audience to comprehend the message. Active Listening: Effective communication is a two-way process. Great communicators not only express themselves well but also actively listen to others. They pay attention to what others are saying, ask relevant questions, and provide feedback to ensure that the message is fully understood. Empathy: Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Great communicators demonstrate empathy by considering the perspectives and emotions of their audience. This helps build rapport and trust, making communication more effective and meaningful. These sessions are open to both beginners and professionals.
